Castle Tri-Fels

Castle Trifels is in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany close to the French boarder. Tri-fels stands for "three-rocks" as there are three towers carved out of the limestone located a strategic places throughout the valley. These rock towers were used as lookout points for defense of the castle and the small town in the valley.
